Is it best to attend online or in person?
Both in-person and online classes have their benefits. In-person classes offer a sense of connection and allow for hands-on guidance, which can be especially helpful for beginners. Online classes provide flexibility, allowing you to practice from the comfort of your home at a time that suits you. Whether you choose in-person or online, the most important thing is finding a class where you feel supported and comfortable.
Do I need to have any experience to do Yoga?
No definitely not. Dani loves working with beginners and those recovering from injury or just sore bodies. You will be encouraged to modify practices to suit your individual body and meet your body with curiosity each time you practice.
Do I need special equipment to start yoga?
No, you don’t need anything fancy to begin! A non-slip yoga mat is helpful for comfort and stability, but even a towel or carpet can work for your first few sessions. Props like blocks and straps can enhance your practice, but they aren’t essential—you can even use items you have at home, like cushions or a belt. Dru Yoga is gentle and adaptable, so all you need is comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and a willingness to explore.
Will yoga help with stress and anxiety?
Absolutely! One of the most powerful benefits of Dru Yoga is its ability to calm the mind and release tension from the body. Through a combination of gentle flowing movements, breathing techniques, and deep relaxation, Dru Yoga helps quiet the mind, ease anxiety, and promote a sense of inner peace. You’ll leave each session feeling more grounded, relaxed, and connected to your inner wisdom.
